Our Legal Paternity Testing service is for those people who expect Paternity Test Results to be used for legal purpose and need results that are strongly supported in a court of law. Complete chain of custody is established and maintained throughout the process. The service is offered through an AABB and CLIA certified laboratory. A Notarized paternity test results report is provided within 2 weeks.

To established Chain of Custody, individuals being tested are required to go to a specimen collection facility at a location near them. The specimens are collected at these collection facilities and sent directly to our laboratory. These facilities collect buccal swab or blood samples, take pictures and or finger prints of the individuals being tested. In metro Atlanta, Georgia, we collect specimens at our laboratory.

To initiate the process of Legal Paternity Testing please call the toll free number below or submit the online Order Form. Once the process is initiated by you, a $150 nor-refundable deposit is required to schedule an appointment for specimen collection at a location near you, this process takes about 24 hour. Appointments are scheduled 3-5 business days in advance. There is no charge for specimen collection if collected in our laboratory in Atlanta, Georgia. However, there will be an additional charge of $30-$50 per individual if performed by any other facility near you. The fee is paid in advance by you or DTP, to the collection facility. The deposit is applied towards the total fee of testing.

Once the appointment is scheduled, we will send the specimen collection kit with complete instructions and necessary forms directly to the facility. The collection facility will take pictures and finger prints of the individuals being tested. This is done to establish chain of custody and proper identification of the individuals  being tested. All adults being tested should bring a valid Photo ID with them to the collection facility, Birth Certificates are required for children who do not have photo IDs.

The samples are sent directly to the laboratory by the collection facility for paternity testing. The remaining fee is due before the testing begins. The results are provided within 2 weeks from when we receive the samples in our laboratory. Results are provided per your request, either via mail, e-mail, telephone and facsimile. The results are guaranteed to indicate either a probability of paternity greater than 99.99% (Inclusion, fatherhood confirmed) or 0% (Exclusion, fatherhood un-confirmed).
